Agent P's World Showcase Adventure (full name Disney Phineas and Ferb Agent P's World Showcase Adventure) was an interactive attraction at the World Showcase at Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort which had its soft opening on June 15, 2012, and official opening June 23 of that same year, replacing Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure. Guests who register at one of five locations within Epcot use a F.O.N.E. - Field Operative Notification Equipment - supplied by sponsor AT&T, taking over sponsorship from Verizon Wireless as of June 2014, to become agents of O.W.C.A. and help Perry the Platypus defeat Dr. Doofenshmirtz through seven country pavilions represented in the World Showcase area - Mexico, France, Germany, Norway, United Kingdom, Japan and China - getting clues on their devices for each case, and also scouring for evil Inators. Each showcase country features Phineas and Ferb on vacation with their family and Perry (in his mindless pet mode) being held up because of one of their ideas. The attraction re-uses many mechanics from its predecessor, like singing steins in the Germany Pavilion or retrieving a sample of Chai Tea in the U.K. Pavilion. In 2016, the game was made compatible with guest cellphones and was later incorporated into the Play Disney Parks app in 2018.
On December 3, 2019, it was announced that the game would once again be rethemed, becoming the DuckTales World Showcase Adventure, which was originally scheduled to set open in the Summer of 2020.[1] However, it was delayed to 2021, since the opening was postponed indefinitely following the closure of the park due to the coronavirus pandemic.
